Old Dreams Revived

Lately, I have been coming more in tact with my old self when it comes to ambition, hopes, and dreams. It’s a painful period in life when you lose sight of what you want for yourself. But, through times of being unsure of who you are and what you want, there is always a revival or renewal of self waiting. In my situation,  I have found myself centering on what was important to me a few years ago. I was unsure for a while of what I wanted to do and who to become. I had put so much pressure on myself to create a certain way so that I could mold myself to please others, that I was too stressed to actually produce any work. The feeling of forcing myself creatively was the yuckiest period I had ever gone through. It takes all of the driving force out of creation. My imagination feels so numb went I try to change myself. The best thing to be, is you. A huge relieve of stress as well when you decide that you are okay with yourself 🙂

 I got these shorts on my very first visit to LA in 2011 I believe. I’ve never had the right shoes for them, until I met these beautiful babies! The studded wooden sandals from T.U.K are all so perfect. I can’t love them enough. The top is great for summer days.♥
