I wear these vintage GUESS jeans a lot in my day to day life. I picked them up a couple years ago from In Your Wildest Dreams for 5 bucks! Since I am petite and clothing easily overwhelms my small frame I was beyond excited to run across the perfect fitting pair of retro mom jeans. GUESS jeans must have been so popular in the day due to the flattering fit, which are still flattering to today’s fashion standards. I really enjoy wearing them in all sorts of casual styles, especially with a rad band tees accessorized with a round black hat, all over silver jewelry, and some creepers to complete the look. For today’s look I focused on a washed out color scheme. The summers in Bakersfield, CA are known to bring a brutal dry heat, so some days a light color palette is in my best interest. I kept the outfit light with a focus on bright whites, but with a balance of darkness by adding greys and blacks. This sleeveless longline plaid button-up is my best friend on hot days. It’s lightweight enough to accessorize a with romper, top and bottoms, or on it’s own as a dress!
Well, I start school next month actually! 🙂 I think it will be really challenging keeping up with my blog, a 6 week course, and my social life, but I am excited and ready! My DSLR is able to take video and I am hoping I find a way to bring you all a YouTube channel soon. I want to delve deeper into all of my passions and share them with the world. I love writing, photography, everything fashion, writing, painting, and making clothing!!!
