Hey everyone!

This outfit is from last week when Bakersfield happened to be experiencing some random dreary yucky weather, in May??? This week it is back to being ridiculously hot. I can feel the temperature climbing back into the hundreds(extra yuck!). Well, the rainy weather last week demanded that I whip out the black lip gloss and go for an urban street wear style. I’m pretty sure that I had just woken up with that jersey on. I had to take my brother to school so I pulled on some tights, a bad ass coat, a beanie to hide under, and slipped on these rad hi-top sneakers. I later added all of the accessories and make up to complete the look for blog photos 🙂

Lately I have been finding myself very frustrated with so many people in my life. It’s so hard at this time when we’re all growing up and going in different directions to pinpoint who you should be spending your time with and who you shouldn’t be. This is especially frustrating to me when it comes to dealing with guys. It seems like guys go nuts after high school and absolutely can’t deal with a platonic relationship involving a girl. There’s just so much pressure involved with me ever hanging out with a guy my age or older. It’s almost like I feel very defensive all of the time whenever I am spending time with a man because I know what their intentions are ultimately, and they make it super obvious. Every time I have actually tried to date a guy since getting out of high school they just come off as pigs. Like all they want is to have sex and they’ll take any opportunity to get it. I mean, I guess there is nothing wrong with it because it seems like that is how guys minds are naturally programmed: SEX SEX SEX. But really, I just cannot deal with all of the sexist jokes that come out of guys mouths when they are trying to court me. All I’m thinking is *BARF* wtf is wrong with you, why am i here, ew, no, k, thnkx for the free food, bye. Do some boys think the best tactic to make out with a babe is by making very sexist/dumb/stupid remarks?? Cuz it don’t. If this is how men attempt to pursue me for the rest of my life I will just adopt a bunch of really cute dogs, watch Netflix, and adorn myself in jewels every day until I die. Rant over lmao.
