Hey Friends,

I recently purchased this AMAZING prep school blazer and dove grey hat from my best friend’s consignment store, In Your Wildest Dreams. They are definitely a pair of golden, unforgettable, vintage scores that I have made in the recent years. And so I decided to combine them with a few other of my favorite finds! The plaid skirt is wonderful and feels classic. I purchased it at this place in Oildale that looks like a barn. This man owns it and sells all of his late mother’s belongings inside. It’s really neat because she was a hoarder, a hoarder of beautiful antiques! Gorgeous plates, dolls, and some sweet skirts that I picked up on. I have two others that I will definitely have to show in some upcoming winter posts 🙂 The boots are velvet, a souvenir from my theater class in high school.  I get excited whenever vintage shoes fit my feet, they’re so small it’s difficult to find!

The title of this look is a song by The Decemberists, which I felt extremely suiting for the character of this outfit. It’s supposed to take you back in town and tell a story! You make up your own story to this look, I have my own. That’s the funnest part about photography, you can interpret it in whichever way you want. In whatever way inspires you most. Have a great day everyone! 🙂

Love,

Kendall K.
