My blog was luckily chosen to work as press at RuPaul’s Drag Con in L.A. this year. ♥
RuPaul’s Drag Race is my absolute favorite T.V. show of all time. It combines everything in life that I love from fantasy, makeup, and beauty to pop culture, liberation, and performance! The convention exuded those exact loving vibes as well. It is a place of complete positive thinking and invites children with open arms. There was a large area in the convention center where children could play with toys, get in a bounce house, and even enjoy story time read by a drag queen!

This set was built by @vijatm for Season 7 winner, Miss. Violet Chachki.
You can find more of this artist and their work here: Harvey Del Rey
There were boundless unique creators vending at the convention. It really inspired me!
Robbie Turner was personally one of my favorite queens to talk to. ♥ She recommended I watch the Barbra Streisand movie her outfit references.

Johnny McGovern from the gay YouTube show Hey Qween interviewing Sasha Velour. I am really rooting for Sasha to take home the crown tonight! I honestly love them all, but she embodies everything I love.

I have not seen Isabel Hendrix since 2014 when I was working with Miracle Eye. It was so nice to see a familiar face from the blogging community!
Here is the legendary Britney Spears impersonator Derrick Barry with my mom. Derrick actually stood right next to me in the press room and was very kind to speak to. She seems like a good person at heart. 🙂 (sadly my photo with her turned out very blurry </3 it happens)

@Pattispliff!!! She slayed day to day!
This girl was my favorite fashionista to meet at the event, Miss. Caitlin! She hand makes her own knit collection in Brooklyn. She is very hip and I love her designs. I bought myself two bows and my mom got some pom-pom clips for her hat. ♥ You can shop her items at farradasknits.com
Let’s celebrate pride EVERY month!
I took these shots from above in the press room. As you can see, MANY people attended. Over 40,000 to give you an idea. It was quite organized despite the mass numbers of people!
Queen @Fagenstein! I loved their iconic name and look! They’re a pretty interesting person, be sure to check out their instagram ♥
Here is my mom with her very favorite drag queen Morgan McMichaels 🙂

Crazy cat lady! This outfit was EVERYTHING
I discovered the beauty that is @ageofaquria at RuPaul’s Drag Con. Her social media game is off the hook!
@Tygatonic is an absolute beauty in all black! My kind of human ♥

The Princess makes a statement.
Rupaul’s Drag Con was full of spectacular queens, many of which I did not get the chance to know their name! Please tag anyone in the comments below that I did not credit. Thank you ♥
Darienne Lake was not too fond of how close up this photo was taken, but I think her look is flawless! Yass queen.
I got to meet one of my favorite queens, Ginger Minj. I fell in love with her when I saw her perform at Beach Goth last year. ♥ She is truly a spectacular entertainer!

A very cute pair I had to snap a photo of at RuPaul’s Drag Con!

Nicole Paige Brooks is a slim woman!!! I’ve never had bigger ankles than anyone. Haha <3
My mom and I had an amazing and unforgettable time at RuPaul’s Drag Con this year! I plan to attend and work as press every year if I can. Next time I am coming with ALL of my equipment so I can take gorgeous high quality beauty shots of the queens. Who knows, maybe I will get lucky enough to go out to NYC for the con planned this September. Check out their website to stay updated with details. ♥
Thank you for the support!
