The ‘Boogie Shoes’ charity event, hosted by Ontario Outlets, brought in fall styles with a 70’s flair. Studio 54 and the days of disco were the main inspiration behind the event. Of course,Β I decided to dress the part and wore my famous gold lamΓ© shawl! Every photo I googled of Studio 54 featured a woman in barely anything, besides gold lamΓ© and metallic heels. It was a time for glamour, sex appeal, and dancing.
This was not my first time working Ontario Mills, since last year I helped host their shoe event alongside fellow fashion blogger, Vicky!
I loved how this year the event was private. It made the atmosphere feel much more intimate and fun to be a part of. β₯
A photo booth invited guests at the front, along with fun props to strike a pose with. I received a cute collage of my boyfriend and me to take home. π
What’s Inside?!
An all white interior greeted us as we entered the private event, complete with disco ball, light up dance floor, and spunky dancers.
Food, Desserts, and Drinks!
An amazing candy bar, cocktail bar, along with delicious food floating around on platters, made for the perfect party.
My boyfriend couldn’t get enough of the chicken teriyaki skewers! I personally loved the ceviche. I hadn’t eaten it for years!
Giving Back – Charity!
Five gift baskets were up for grabs by donating to Soles 4 Souls. I bought several raffle tickets and put them into the forth box! The tattoo stylized purse was calling my name, but unfortunately I did not win! It still felt satisfying to donate to a charitable cause. π
~The ‘Boogie Shoes’ Event Wrapped Up~
My boyfriend and I are shoooooo’ cute! β₯ I had a blast doing my job by interacting with people, shooting photos, and recording the fashion show.(Which I will share on my YouTube channel this week!) Christian, my boyfriend, is always so sweet, helpful, and supportive by carrying my equipment. β₯ He also reaps the benefits of delish’ food, great music, and a fun environment!
The night ended with everyone from hired dancers, models from the fashion show, and guests joining together on the dance floor to get down and boogie. My review of the fall fashion show will be on my YouTube channel. π
~Meeting up with my friend Athousandchapters~
The highlight of my night was getting to meet my friend Mickey! You may know her as athousandchapters. She has an amazing instagram chock full of the best sustainable personal style from a grunge perspective. I love meeting fellow fashionistas from the online world. The fact that she drove out to visit me meant so much! π

Overall, the ‘boogie shoes’ event was a total success! I thought that the Ontario Mills team put in so much hard work into creating a fun, interactive, and entertaining event. π
Make sure to shop at the Ontario Mills Outlets the next time you’re in the area. It is the largest mall I have been to in California, they have amazing stylish shops with great deals, and a deluxe food court.
