Happy New Year everybody! 🙂 I love keeping a personal diary to write a sentence or two about my day. That way I can always reflect back on the memory, as mundane as it may be. There is something unique to each and every day. Sometimes the difference is in the weather, your mood, politics, holidays, ect. At the beginning of this past year I recognized my unhappiness in life and separated myself completely from an unhealthy environment and negative people. By letting go of these depressing aspects of my life, I was able to focus on myself and who I really am again. I was able to flourish, shine, and attract positive vibes. Writing this now, I can confidently say that I am the happiest I’ve been since my adolescence. There are plenty of goals that I want to fulfill for myself in regards to art, but everything else is perfect. ♥ I started dating this super handsome guy in April. I love him with all of my heart and I’ve never had someone so down for me. Although we’re two hours apart we make a great effort to see each other. Usually 3 times a week! We’ve had plenty of unique adventures together. 🙂 The bond we created together is the best thing to happen to me in 2017 by far. ~Everyone wants to be loved~
I started bartending at a lounge and serving at a restaurant in downtown Bakersfield. It is a pretty amazing experience as they are small businesses, yet very hip and notable in the community. As challenging as the jobs are, it is rewarding to learn something completely new. My favorite aspects of the jobs are the amount of creativity put into making drinks and arranging food. I start to feel stagnant when I get into a redundant routine, so adding an artistic element to the job really helps. 🙂
As far as goals go for 2018, I just want to blog more!!! I have been kicking myself in the butt for not doing so more. It’s one of the coolest parts of my life!!! I love working with makeup and clothing sponsors and creating looks to share with y’all. It’s all up to me if I do it or not, so I really hope this is the year I take blogging seriously again. I would love to do more fun things through it. 🙂
